Nathmulls Tea Details: Grade: FTGFOP1 , OOLONG : The leaf is longish and flaky with a fair amount of Silver tips. The cup is a bright golden colour having a unique flavour and abundant aroma, easily identifying this tea as a very good quality Oolong.
Thurbo Tea Estate is located in the lush picturesque valley of Mirik of Darjeeling at an altitude ranging from 980 mts to 2440 mts. It has a planted area of 485.11 Hectars. It is owned and operated by Goodrick Group Limited. The name of the garden may be originated from a historic event when the British set up a camp in the garden at the time of their Nepal invasion. In the local Nepali language the ‘camp’ is called as ‘Tombu’ and it may be developed as ‘Thurbo’ later by the local people.
