The Rohini Estate was christened Rohini from the Rohini river which flows besides the garden. This is the youngest plantation in Darjeeling, in the sense that it has 77.78 % of young teas planted in the year 1996. The estate lies in the midst of a picturesque surrounding and ranges from 2700 feet to 5000 feet. The factory started in the year 2000 and much is expected in the coming years.
